The MULTI trip in Moldova leads to the small town called Drochia in the north of the country. There the visitors are traditionally welcomed with bread and salt in national costume and warmly welcomed in host families. During the versatile and varied programme, they will gain insights into the rural life of the surrounding villages with plantation visits, guided tours of monasteries, traditional festivals and an ostrich farm. In various smaller museums the participants learn more about the culture and history of the region. The program is topped off by a visit to nearby sights such as the capital of the Roma and Sinti called Soroca with a view of the Ukraine. During the day there will always be a rich meal: be it through the freshly harvested fruits or the local cuisine such as chorba, mamaliga, Plăcintă and the special experience of a fried ice cream.
